Scholarships for Performing Arts & Visual Arts Classes
Kansas City Young Audiences Community School of the Arts believes that all children deserve access to the arts! With the support of our funders we are able to provide scholarships on a 'first-come, first-served' basis for group classes. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer scholarships for private lessons. Scholarships may be awarded for up to 60% of class and up to 80% of Summer Camp fees.
Applications for scholarships will be accepted beginning:
- Fall Session - application begins August 1, 2012
- Spring Session - application begins December 15, 2012
- Summer Session - application begins April 15, 2013
You must submit a complete Scholarship Application which includes:
- Completed Enrollment Form
- Completed Scholarship Application
- Documentation of Financial Need
- $10 per student or $25 per family Scholarship Application Fee (will be applied to your class fees)
- **1/3 of the total amount due per student must be paid prior to the first day of class.**

Scholarship Funds are limited and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
This table does not guarantee a scholarship award and is a rough guideline based on number of dependent children at home and adjusted gross income.
