Alex Espy

Alex Espy is the Education Director at Mesner Puppet Theater, specializing in the Social/Emotional growth of young people through the power of puppetry. Throughout the years, Alex has created shows for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, and narrated several concerts with the Kansas City Symphony. Prior to his time at Mesner Puppet Theater, Alex served as Artist in Residence at St. Mark Child and Family Development Center, and spent several summers running the children’s theater at Okoboji Summer Theater in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
