A Creative Writing Workshop or Residency for Grades 2-5

Let students’ imaginations – and taste buds – come alive as they create a story full of detail, wonder, and possible hilarity. Young writers’ creativity will be challenged as story components are developed one session at a time, then assembled into one piece. Students will map out their story’s events from beginning to middle to end, and the creativity will culminate in an illustrated story to be shared with delighted readers and listeners.
*This program is booked as a four-session residency.
Requirements: Notebook paper, pencils, crayons/markers, photocopies of instructor’s handouts. Teachers must be present at all times during workshops.

Fees: $135 single, $200 double | Materials Fee: $7 per workshop, $28 total for residency
