Katie Schilling is a graduate of UMKC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a former Kansas City Ballet student apprentice and faculty member. Katie primarily studied at the Kansas City Ballet under Karen Brown and has the distinction of being the only student ever invited to choreograph for KCBS performances. She has also studied and performed with American Ballet Theatre New York, the Milwaukee Ballet School, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, The Jillana School, and the Rock School of Pennsylvania.
Katie has had the opportunity to dance with REACH. Katie is formally trained in ballroom dance, and has enjoyed teaching couples and individuals for many years. She has trained for International Latin ballroom competitions.
