6 Months Later, An Update

We are quickly approaching the 6 month anniversary of the move into our new home on Main Street! We have had some exciting happenings here through the transition! If you haven't been in the building - come see us, we'd love to show you around!

May 2017

  • More than 100 dancers enrolled in the Spring Dance Performance (May 24, 2017)

We couldn't be more thrilled and happy with how things have progressed over these months! The partnerships with other arts organizations and non-profits is exactly what we hoped would happen.

In addtion, the Community School of the Arts has experienced strong growth in enrollments. We had also hoped for this, but did not expect it to be so immediate.  Our Spring Break Camps were nearly sold out and our Dance Performance had more than 100 student participants - more than ever before.

(On a side note, this growth has also impacted our Scholarship Fund. We will need to raise more money to accommodate the new familes who need financial assistance. Click here to make a donation to the Scholarship Fund.)

On top of the all of these excellent programs and partnerships we have continued to seek the support of foundations, coprorations and individuals within the Kansas City community to complete our Capital Campaign. We are very pleased to announce that we have raised more than 3 million dollars towards our goal of 3.65 million. Click here to learn more about our fantastic Campaign donors!

We are so close to being in our new rennovated home, debt free! Won't you please join with others in the community to help us reach our goal?  Click here to make a donation to the Capital Campaign.

"Wonderful performance, music, props, puppets were all true to the story.  The children were acting out the story on the playground after the program!"
