We are pleased to announce that the Spring Dance Performance: "Garden Ballet" will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 7:00pm in the Auditorium at the Community School of the Arts. Students in all dance classes are invited to participate. "Garden Ballet" is a delightful performance filled with birds, butterflies, flowers and bees.
We will begin practicing some of the steps for this performance during our regular weekly classes, but official rehearsals will occur May 11-28, 2009. Performance registration and fee is due by Friday, April 10th. There will be no rehearsals Friday, May 22nd or Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day weekend).
Rehearsals are mandatory and must take precedence over other activities during the rehearsal period. We know this may seem strict, but it is extremely disruptive if a dancer misses rehearsal when choreography is being taught.

Fees are as follows: (scholarships are available for those who qualify)
Pre-Ballet, Pre-Dance, Hip Hop, and Jazz Students
Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Level Students: $100
The enrollment fee includes:
- 2 tickets to the performance (additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each)
- All rehearsals/instruction
- Additional costuming, props, etc. (which will be returned to Miss Kim and KCYA)
Performing is a vital part of a dancer’s training and we encourage each student to participate in this special opportunity!
