All Community School of the Arts dance Teaching Artists share the goal to inspire a love of dance and movement in students of all ages, sizes and abilities. We believe a teacher's responsibility is to create a positive atmosphere, while motivating students to set and attain goals and gain self confidence.
Dancers will be taught to perform dance skills accurately and with proper technique, enabling them to progress rapidly through the systematic curriculum.

**Shop Curtain Call for Class for all your ballet and dance attire needs. We'll earn credits towards costumes and other supplies with every purchase.**
Students will have the opportunity to play, collaborate, and create with others in a "garage" rock band format. Every member will try out the various instruments and roles: electric guitar, electric bass, drums, acoustic guitar, keyboard, and vocals. Through experimentation and practice, the group will create its own unique sound.
Prerequisite: New garage band students must currently play an instrument and should talk to the instructor before enrolling. Call Olivia, the Registrar at 816.531.4022 to connect with Chris Hudson.
Returning garage band students should discuss with Chris which band to enroll in.

Kansas City Girls Choir, Kansas City Boys Choir
These performing choirs are designed for the music lover, providing some choral training. The choir is directed by Ah’Lee Robinson, Director of the Community School of the Arts and Artistic Director for the Kansas City Boys Choir and the Kansas City Girls Choirs. The choirs perform 2 annual concerts, Spring and Winter, and performs many private and special events throughout the city and travels out of the state.
